Kurkuri Bhindi I Crispy Okra



Ingredients:

  • 250g Okra (bhindi)
  • 2tbsp besan
  • ¼ tsp ajwain
  • ½ tsp jeera powder
  • 1tsp amchur powder
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Chat masala to sprinkle
  • Oil to deep fry

Method:

  • Wash and wipe dry the bhindi.
  • Slit the bhindi into halves and then further into thin strips.
  • In a big bowl mix together the bhindi with all the other ingredients and salt to taste. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the bhindi in moderately hot oil till crisp and remove on absorbent paper.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot
