Ingredients:
- Spinach - 500 gms. (1 bunch
- Tomato - 4 (medium sized)
- Ginger - 1 inch long piece.
- Salt - 3/4 tea spoon.
- Black salt - 1/2 tea spoon.
- Black pepper - less than 1/4 tea spoon.
- Lemon - 1/2
- Butter/ desi ghee - 1 table spoon.
- Cream - 1 table spoon.
- Coriander leaves - 1 table spoon (chopped)
Method:
- Cut the spinach leaves, tomatoes and ginger into big pieces and put them inside the cooker or a Pan along with 1 cup of water to boil. Turn off the flame once the spinach becomes tender.
- Make a smooth paste of boiled spinach using grinder.
- Add more water around 3-5 cup water into the mixture and let it boil again.
- Mix salt, black salt and black pepper into the soup and cook the soup for 5-8 minutes.
- Add butter or desi ghee, lemon juice into it and mix well.
- Serve hot and garnishing with cream and coriander leaves.
