- Roasted peanuts 1/2 cup
- Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon
- Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon
- Fresh red chillies chopped 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
- Oil 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce 1 teaspoon
- Sugar 1-1½ teaspoons
- Salt to taste.
- To prepare peanut sauce, grind peanuts to a coarse powder and put into a bowl.
- Grind together ginger, garlic, fresh red chillies and coriander powder to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add this paste and saute for 30 seconds. Add peanut powder, mix and cook for a minute.
- Reduce heat, add soy sauce, sugar and salt, mix and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add some water, mix and cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes or till thick. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Server with snacks (best compliment with checken satay)
